2007 saw the launch of the Sharpie® Brand in the UK, currently the number one selling permanent marker in the world. Since its introduction, Sharpie® Markers have developed a loyal following and a wide array of uses. The Sharpie® Brand permanent marker was the first pen-style permanent marker, and is the preferred permanent marker of choice for offices, artists, illustrators, designers and parents across the world.
A high quality tip and superior ink allows users to write on virtually any surface - from wood and stone to plastic and metal to, of course, paper. It is because of the Sharpie® Marker's multi-purpose nature that they are indispensable - buy a Sharpie® Marker and you will never want or need another marker again.

Thank goodness I won't have to trawl around Wal-Mart every holiday stateside, looking for Sharpies, anymore. They're the best - simply love 'em!
