Working Together for a Greener Future

STABILO have been renowned for high quality products for over 150 years. To demonstrate our commitment, in 2005 STABILO signed up to the International Framework Agreement (IFA) to ensure our company is always ethically and environmentally sound.

We take the selection of all our raw materials very seriously; while they must, of course, perform to the high standards that we set for our products, they must also do the minimum damage possible to our environment. We only use recyclable and biodegradable plastics and the minimum amount of packaging so as not to add to the world’s waste problem. Our manufacturing processes use minimum energy to achieve maximum results, for example, using left over wood chips and shavings from pencil making to heat the factory.

And remember that going green does not mean comprising on quality or comfort - in fact it is the reverse. Many offices buy items on price, when studies show buying better quality, durable and reusable products can actually reduce your purchasing costs. By choosing high quality branded products you can also help reduce the carbon footprint. Most brands use efficient manufacturing processes and guarantee that their production adheres to the IFA or Global compact standards for ethical working practices.
