Tombow: Innovative products from Japan

February 25, 2009

Tombow is a traditional Japanese company. It was founded in 1913 by Harunosake Ogawa and is in the hands of the Ogawa family to this day. The headquarters of the company is still located in Tokyo. There are two subsidiaries: one in Germany, which was founded in 1979 and also serves as the European headquarters, as well as one in the USA. It is not only in Japan that the brand Tombow enjoys “cult” status; Tombow products also enjoy great popularity among consumers in many other countries.

The Tombow technicians have successfully addressed this problem by using complex testing and have developed the “AirPress Pen”, which has worldwide-patented technology.
