Leading pen manufacturer STABILO has proudly demonstrated its green credentials by becoming the first pen manufacturer to partner Carbon Clear, the leading carbon management company. From October 2008, STABILO will offer stationery consumers the unique opportunity to contribute towards the planet’s future by enabling them to plant a tree.

The ‘Tree for Two’ promotion, open to both office trade and retail, will apply first to the market leading STABILO Boss highlighters, with the aim of rolling out across other STABILO ranges later. For every two promotional BOSS packs STABILO will commit to planting a tree to aid communities in India and Asia.

Stabilo hope the partnership with Carbon Clear will lead to many trees being planted in the next 12 months. The ‘Tree for Two’ offer is further evidence of STABILO’s commitment to making this a better world for our children. STABILO already ensure all its products are recyclable. STABILO has also been a long-time supporter of the Forrest Stewardship Council (FSC), a project promoting the environmentally reasonable use of the world’s forests, and was the first pencil manufacturer to gain FSC-certification.

The ‘Tree for Two’ offer will be promoted on pack and via point of sale materials, within retailers and dealer flyers.
