From to do to done
Leitz have already revolutionised the lever arch file market with its unique Leitz range of lever arch files with the innovative 180° lever arch mechanism. Now, Leitz, the inventor of the lever arch file, has demonstrated its sheer strength of the file by lifting a Porsche Boxter weighing almost one and a half tonnes. The car was held 1.5 metres above the ground for a full minute.
The idea to lift a car with a lever arch file came about during endurance testing when it became obvious that the mechanism was incredibly robust. Leitz wanted to prove how strong the product was but the results were even beyond their expectations. Launched across Europe at the end of 2005, the Leitz 180° lever arch file is unique in the design of its patented metal ring mechanism. This allows the lever to open a full 180° so that documents can be inserted from both sides. It also means that it’s 50% wider , allowing more sheets to be inserted in one go. And, because it is so quick and easy to use, it can shave up to 20% off the time spent filing papers. It’s proved so successful that three out of five lever arch file users have already adopted this new file.
