Helping Hands Fund is launched to promote Corporate Social Responsibility.
Corporate Express, a leading supplier of office products, and Data Copy, a leading brand of office paper, are pleased to announce the launch of the Helping Hands Fund. This initiative is designed to support business sustainability and organisations that want to do their bit for the future.
In its first year the Helping Hands Fund will distribute €40 000 to help businesses contribute to charitable sustainability and community projects. Donations will range from €500 up to €20 000 and will be made directly to the chosen charity. The fund is expected to continue in 2009 and 2010.
Businesses can apply to the Helping Hands Fund online at www.helpinghands.eu.com from May 1st 2008. Applicants should outline the objectives and benefits of the project, the company’s involvement with the chosen charity and the amount of money requested. The fund is open to all kinds of businesses, large or small.
Peter Damman, President at Corporate Express Europe, said, “We are very proud of our involvement in this initiative and hope it encourages all types of businesses to take more positive steps towards CSR.”
Johan Holvik, Marketing Manager, M-real Office Papers, said, “It’s great that Data Copy can support this exciting initiative and help businesses make a difference. We look forward to running the fund for the foreseeable future.”
