Honor the past, invent the future.
Leading stationery manufacturer BIC® has teamed up with trend-setting design brand Bobbypin™ in an exclusive licensing deal.
The new range combines the practical application of BIC with the eye catching, cutting edge designs of Bobbypin.
Bobbypin was created by Jeffrey Fulvimari, who has worked with famous names such as Madonna and Louis Vuitton. Created to appeal to girls of all ages, the brand is characterised by Jeffrey’s unmistakable style - gorgeous illustrated girls, fabulous all over print patterns and cute and witty messages.
The two products in the range include a pack of three stylish ball pens, each featuring different Bobbypin designs. A further fashionable design has been developed for the BIC Turn & Up Fountain Pen.
Emma Lawley, Marketing Manager, BIC UK & Ireland, believes the combination of two global brands provides an opportunity for retailers to capitalise: ‘This license demonstrates BIC’s ability to partner with brands of the ‘here and now’. As a company we are always looking for new ways to connect with our diverse market and Bobbypin underpins our commitment to develop innovative partnerships that do just this.
The exclusive design will see teenagers and young women keen to have these pens in their hands. Previous licensing deals, such as Harry Potter and Disney have proved highly successful and we expect the Bobbypin range to follow suit.’
Alicia Davenport, Director of DRi Licensing, the Agency that manages the Bobbypin brand internationally, said: ‘We are delighted to be joining forces with BIC, such a world-renowned company in their field. For DRi, this agreement is a mark of recognition of the attractiveness and appeal of the Bobbypin brand. This is an exciting and prestigious endorsement of our growing Bobbypin licensing programme and we look forward to working with BIC and to a very successful association.’
The BIC Bobbypin licensed range is available now with a recommended retail price from £1.99
